These past two years, we've had the pleasure of traveling across Arizona! Along the way, we've stumbled upon jaw-dropping locations. Here are my favorite Arizona photoshoot locations for family, fashion or, senior sessions:
Scorpion Gulch
If you're looking for an "iconically Arizona" site, Scorpion Gultch is perfect. Hosting a slew of abandoned, brick buildings, cactus, and a horse stable, this location is full of history and desert staples. My seniors especially love this location because of all the hidden nooks and crannies on property that add character to their images. It truly has so many little places, making it feel like a fun maze.
Desert Botanical Garden
(Trust me, this is a GREAT spot. We did a couple session with Jessie here, and the pictures... GORG!)
Calling all nature lovers! The Desert Botanical Garden in Tempe (near another fan favorite: Papago Park) is a wonderland of local flora. The entire grounds are photo-worthy AND versatile, making it a worthwhile photoshoot experience. With every step, you are greeted by gorgeous desert flowers, cacti, and local art! This winter, they are open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., and general admission is $29.95 per perso. Check out their website for the most up-to-date information.
Downtown Phoenix - Murals
Scattered all around Downtown Phoenix are some beautiful murals ready for to be your backdrop. For those looking for a fun splash of color in the hot desert, murals are an excellent location option. Read all about some great ones in this article.
Heritage Square
Located in Downtown Phoenix is this charming cottage location. Heritage Square has antique written all over it! The house's beautiful architecture, coupled with the jungle of botanicals nearby makes the site versatile.
Papago Park
Papago Park is a very versatile location, featuring out-of-this-world-looking mountains and a grassy desert terrain. And the VIEW from "Hole in the Rock" - it's surreal standing above the city.
